Looks to be a quite concerning documentary on how the education system works in the us and how they evolve the curriculum.
I came across this very cool variant of Tetris which replaces the blocks with European countries. I think this is a great learning tool and was impressed with Schmitz’s ability.
I have just watched an interesting ted talk from Barry Schwartz around rules and incentives and how they impact peoples output. As Schwartz discusses, this is not a new discovery however he explains some cases where allowing individual thinking can cause a dramatic improvements in peoples lives. I first discovered Schwartz from his book The Paradox of Choice: Why Less is More which investigates why too much choice leaves us unsatisfied with our selection.
